Little Dog Flower Farm: We Love Flowers, and think you do, too.
At Little Dog Flower Farm, we cultivate and share the beauty of flowers because we love them. We share the same passion for these flowers that you do, which has evolved into a business rooted in our love for all of the flowers we grow. Years ago, we started growing dahlias and when Little Dog was just a little seedling, all of the other flowers took hold of our hearts. We envisioned a farm where flowers could thrive, and so could nature. For us, these two things are not mutually exclusive.

We love our land, the earth upon which we so humbly live, and all of our neighbors - insects, birds, rodents, mammals, and plants. We all live here together. So we use nothing that could hurt any of us. We grow organically so that Mother Earth is happy. We protect our dahlias and other wonderful flowers in earth-friendly ways, ensuring a healthy growing season and a healthy place for all to live.
Our story
Our story began with a single bouquet of dahlias from a local dahlia enthusiast and a casual remark from a friend (upon gifting her a bouquet of dahlias “You should be a flower farmer!”)
The first shoot that pokes up through the soil, the blooms that take
our breath away, and finally the frost that signals the end of the dahlia season, it’s a passion that runs deep here at Little Dog and we love sharing that passion with you…whether here locally in Chewelah, or wherever you are. We’re so happy you found us.
Our name stems from all of the little dogs we’ve had (and have now), especially our lost, but never forgotten and always in our hearts, Mavis. I miss you every day. xo
