Chewelah Farmers Market
Yesterday was Chewelah’s Home and Garden Show. I volunteered at the Chewelah Arts Guild’s booth, which I love doing! I love engaging with people and sharing information that the group is doing to promote the arts in Chewelah. Before my shift, I wandered over to the farmers market booth and met with the new manager - Ryan Finley. I had turned in my application but hadn’t heard yea or nay on acceptance. Eager to start planning for the market I asked Ryan whether or not I should move forward on purchases or hold off. “Go ahead and purchase”, said Ryan!! Yeehonk! How exciting!
This is yet another completely new experience for me, but one that I’m so excited about. As I mentioned above, I love engaging with people. I can talk to anybody, easy-peasy. I love finding a topic that interests people and sharing our common passions. Not everyone wants to engage, and that’s okay. I won’t follow you… promise! But come on, I’ll be selling cut flowers (dahlias, ranunculus, sunflowers, zinnias, and so many other gorgeous flowers - swoon!), succulents, and some live flower plants (dahlias) so I’m guessing the folks that stop my booth will want to engage and delight in our shared passions - plants and flowers that make our lives a little happier : )
Okay, gotta go order tables, a banner, stickers, cards, buckets, etc.!
See you at the Chewelah Farmers Market!!
